Assisting Philippine School of the Deaf in the Amplified Numeracy Assessment (ANA)

Updated: Oct 21

All public schools in the Philippines are mandated to administer the Amplified Numeracy Assessment to the students from Grade 1 to Grade 10 for School Year 2022-2023.

This is to diagnose and assess the numeracy skills of learners as well as generate baseline data on their skill levels that will serve as input for planning and making decisions on instructional adjustments and interventions at the regional, division, and school levels.

We provided the following to support Philippine School of the Deaf in their Amplified Numeracy Assessment:

  • Broadband internet data connection - this is to support the insufficient internet connection the school currently has

  • Tablet Devices - we loaned the school some tablet devices which the students can use to take their exam

  • Technical Support/Assistance - during the 3-day assessment, the Accessifiers team was also present in the school to provide technical assistance when needed.
