What started as an experiment in possibility turned into a powerful milestone for deaf trainees who recently completed the first-ever Tech Entrepreneurship Class. Across 12 online sessions, these determined trainees explored what it means to be a digital creator, a business owner, and someone ready to build their own path in tech. From learning how to communicate professionally through email, exploring Canva and graphic design, discovering how Etsy works, to researching real products they can sell—their journey was filled with hands-on tasks and real-world skills.
They didn’t just learn tools—they practiced values: integrity in design, persistence, and purpose-driven creativity. Each session brought more confidence, stronger digital literacy, and a sense of empowerment. Many began with no prior experience in Etsy, digital product creation, or graphic design —and now they’ve completed projects, received feedback, and even created sample products. And this is just the beginning. Some are now moving on to the next level of training. We're proud of their growth. Their stories remind us that when Deaf individuals are given access to inclusive tools and mentorship, they can lead with innovation and impact.
📣 Interested in joining the next batch? We're now opening sign-ups for the next set of Deaf trainees! This training is free, online, and built for real work and future business opportunities.
