How long does the training last?
The duration of the training is flexible and individualized. Unlike traditional internship programs that last several months, our training is structured in one-week increments, allowing participants to focus on specific skills. Interns can gain real-work experience within a week and decide whether to continue based on their progress and career goals. The total duration depends on the trainee’s chosen skills and pacing, ranging from a single week to multiple weeks. The timeframe is matched to each individual's Skills Development Plan.
Is the training paid?
The goal of the program is to get you as quickly as possible to getting paid work in a tech-related role. During the initial assessment and at any time during the training program, if you can show or prove qualifications, you may be offered compensation for your work. If you are unable to show that you are qualified but there is an indication that you have potential, you can continue the work experience but would not receive compensation for it.
The Real-Work Internship Program is generally unpaid. However, during the initial assessment and at any time during the program, if you can demonstrate your qualifications, you may be offered compensation for your work. If you show potential but do not yet meet the qualifications, you can continue gaining experience without pay.
Despite this, the program provides several valuable benefits to support your career growth:

How is this different from a regular college internship?
Unlike traditional college on-the-job training in the Philippines, which primarily serve to fulfill academic requirements, our Real-Work Training Program is designed specifically to prepare trainees for immediate job opportunities in the tech industry.
A typical college traineeship lasts 300 to 600 hours, depending on the program and the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) requirements. CHED is the government agency responsible for overseeing higher education in the Philippines, ensuring that colleges and universities follow academic standards, including required traineeship hours.
In contrast, our program is more flexible and shorter because it focuses on real-world work experience and specific hirable skills rather than fulfilling academic requirements. Instead of simply completing hours, our trainees gain practical skills, work on actual tech projects, and connect with potential employers—especially our partner organizations with inclusive hiring practices. This ensures that participants develop marketable skills and increase their chances of employment in tech-based roles or even self-employment in tech-related fields.
Will I get a job after completing the training?
We will equip you with essential job skills through a real-work experience traineeship. At any point where you can demonstrate hirable skills of sufficient quality, you can be hired by the employer or client you are working with. If you don’t meet their requirements right away, we’ll continue training you until you do. Unlike traditional job seekers, you'll always have the opportunity to improve and gain experience. Additionally, we partner with local and U.S.-based organizations with inclusive hiring practices, expanding your employment opportunities.
