After 2 years of full distance learning in the Philippines, the Department of Education has prescribed the option of transitioning from full distance learning to in-person classes for the School Year 2022-2023.
Philippine Institute for the Deaf or PID has been one of our beneficiaries since the pandemic started and we wanted to continue supporting them in providing technological benefits to their students to aid their in-person classes.
For this school year, they implemented a blended learning modality until October 2022 in which the majority of the students are attending their classes in person, while some are still attending online/distance learning.
Each classroom has designated tablet devices that students can use for notetaking, answering seatwork, and connecting with their classmates attending online. We wanted to make sure that the online students don't feel left out just because they are not attending the class in person.
Aside from the tablet devices, we also provided some laptops and iPads for the teachers to use in the classrooms while in class.
With this new technological advancement, we implemented this year, we hope to improve the students' education and class performance.
